To whom this may concern,

My name is Clifford Ivory, Former Defensive Coordinator for York University. I`m writing this recommendation letter
for one of my former athletes, Sean Simms. Sean was  one of my Defensive End and Defensive Tackle at York
University. While coaching Sean, he exhibited hard work and a resilient dedication for improvement where ever he
went.

With only one year as his Defensive Coordinator, Sean improve to be one of my most dedicated and prosperous
player. His hard work and excellence excel beyond the field of play but also in the field of Life. He was recruited by
a Canadian Football League Scout to join their Semi Pro feeder team, where he excelled on the field by earning
all-star accolades.

Sean is a dedicated person who set goals for himself and always achieve those goal on and off the field. It was a
pleasure in coaching this all-star player and it was a joy to have a true warrior on the field of battle.

Hello World Sport Scouting,

I am gladly writing this letter of reference on behalf of Sean Simms. I had the opportunity to coach Sean while he
was at Michael Power High School  and then while he was at York University. In both cases, I coached Sean on the
defensive line.

As for my own background, I had a six year career in the Canadian Football League with the Montreal Alouettes,
B.C. Lions, Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. I have coached high school, Ontario Junior Varsity, and
at both Toronto Universities in the capacity of defensive line coach.

It was evident in high school that Sean was a cut above the other football players. He was heavily recruited out of
high school but ultimately decided to stay closer to home to aid his ailing mother. From that time it was apparent
that Sean had the potential to play professionally one day.

It was with great pleasure that I coached Sean again at York University. The opportunity to coach him again was the
biggest reason why I decided to volunteer my time at York. By that time, Sean had grown into a top flight defensive
lineman in the C.I.S. Sean is coachable, works hard and does what is required for the team. He is big, strong and
fast also. He would be an asset to any football team that is looking at his services.

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to inform you of my experience with and feelings on Sean Simms.

My name is John Simas and I currently the Head Coach of the Mississauga Warriors Football Club.  I have been
fortunate to have Sean as a player on my team – I was the Defensive Co-coordinator and Sean was an outstanding
defensive end on our recording breaking team. Sean is a gifted athlete with many talents, but he is not one to sit
on past successes - he is constantly looking for new challenges and goals to strive for.  He is not afraid to put the
effort (both physical and mental) towards achieving the goals he has set.  Sean is confident in his abilities but he
isn’t a vocal leader, he chooses to lead by example.  He regularly does things for the betterment of the team and is
prepared to make the sacrifices needed to help the team.

Sean’s leadership is very evident on the field.  His teammates look up to him - he provides an emotional spark on
the field and is a positive force in the huddle.  His strength and determination is contagious amongst his
teammates.  Football is a very physical sport and Sean is well suited for the sport, but more importantly he has the
intelligence, character and commitment needed to be a great player.  These qualities are also very important in
our every day lives whether in business or socially.  I feel Sean has many of the attributes that; not only coaches
are looking for but also employers in business, educators and society in general.

In addition to being a football coach I earn a living in the business world in the Human Resources sector.  I have
many young people come and go through my doors.  Very few of them have the qualities that potential employers
are looking for; Sean has those and more.  He is a young man of great potential and has an excellent future ahead
of him. I believe strongly that Sean will go on to do great things because of the person he is and the support he has
from his teammates, family and friends.  In closing, I strongly recommend Sean Simms for your consideration as a
terrific defensive line prospect.

Sincerely

John Simas

My name is Alan Lazar and I am the head coach of the London (Ontario, Canada) Silverbacks, a premier minor
league football team which competes as part of the North American Football League (NAFL).

The Silverbacks were proud to feature Sean Simms in 2008, not only as a member of a league leading defense
but as a team mate.
He is a solid addition to any defensive line with the size, athleticism, versatility, and talent to play both inside and
on the edge forcing opposing offences to game plan for his presence.
Sean’s commitment to the team manifests itself in many ways from his commitment to learning and applying our
defensive scheme, to making the effort to drive approximately four hours each night for practice and games during
a lengthy season while always helping keep his team mates focused on the goals before them in a positive
manner.

I highly recommend Sean Simms as a football player and person and feel we are a team that was very fortunate to
be able to list him as part of our roster. Please feel free to contact me any time with further questions by email at
