To whom it may concern,

This letter of recommendation is on behalf of Davy Johnson as both a football player and football coach. Davy
Johnson played quarterback for Sierra Community College from 2004-2005. He started for Sierra College where
he lead Sierra to 20 -2 win loss record. He was an outstanding quarterback and leader of Sierra College. He was
an excellent role model and an excellent example of a Student Athlete. While playing he lead Sierra to two Bowl
Championships and also earned MVP Honors. He was voted All Conference and was MVP of The 2004 Shrine
Bowl.

Davy Johnson was the most respected player on the team, all the players not only enjoyed playing with him, they
followed him. He lead by his relentless desire to achieve greatness and his unwavering conviction to competing
each play. I was Davy’s position coach in 2004 and 2005 and have the utmost respect for Davy as a person and an
athlete. Davy was by far the toughest player I have ever coached. His work ethic was second to none. He loved his
teammates and gave of himself each day on the practice field as well as on game day.

As a football coach, Davy served as an assistant where he coached Running backs. He served As Sierra College’s
Running back Coach from 2007-2008. He was an excellent teacher and took what he had learned as a player and
applied it to his players who played the exceptional effort and performed with the desire to be the best.    Davy is a
young coach who poses the correct balance of passion and leadership to be a great football coach. He will serve
you well in any role you ask him to serve in. I encourage you to provide Davy Johnson an opportunity to prove to
you what he proved to us at Sierra College, that he is a winner.

Sincerely,
Marco Esquivel

To whom it may concern,

Please accept this correspondence as my highest level of support for Mr. Dave Johnson in his desire to pursue a
position as player/coach for your professional football franchise.  I have the utmost confidence that Dave’s past
experience as a player and coach will most certainly assist you in your endeavor to be successful this coming
season.

I have known Dave for over three years and consider him a friend.  I was originally introduced to him through a
mutual friend and was immediately impressed with his maturity and level of football knowledge.  I soon discovered
that this was due to his many years of playing experience at the junior, high school and collegiate level. I also
learned that he was the son of a local football icon who has coached for over 30 years and has an irrefutable
reputation in Northern California as a football expert.

It was this background and experience that prompted me to ask Dave to coach and mentor my son at the
quarterback position.  Dave proved to be an excellent choice and soon he was coaching several quarterback
candidates from within our junior program.  This initial group manifested into a large “camp” for quarterbacks and
receivers that now has a significant following in our region.  I can attest firsthand that my son benefited greatly from
Dave’s teaching acumen because he has developed into a fine quarterback whose team recently won a regional
championship with an undefeated season.   I sincerely believe that Dave had a huge influence on this program
that contributed to their overall success.

Although Dave is incredibly humble when dealing with his past accomplishments, I feel compelled to mention that
he is a well known talent at the quarterback position and is a well deserving two-time Junior College All American
who was selected as the leagues Most Valuable Player.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for further clarification in support of Dave.

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Robert Freeman.  I am the Head Baseball Coach,  Head JV Football Coach, and PE department chair
at Union Mine High School.

It is my privilege to write a letter of recommendation for Mr. Dave Johnson, who played both baseball and football
for me.  I also coached with him for 3 years at Union Mine.

I have followed his outstanding high school career, as well as a very impressive JC career at Sierra College.  He is
an outstanding quarterback who is a student of the game, both as a player and coach.
He was offered an opportunity to walk on at Boise State, but chose to finish his degree and coach quarterbacks
and serve as offensive co-coordinator at Union Mine High School

He is a very serious and conscientious young man who is mature beyond his years.  He is currently completing a
Communications degree at Sacramento State University.

His desire to continue to play football has led him explore American Football in Europe.  He is very excited about
the opportunity to travel abroad to continue to play.  I have no doubt he will be an outstanding player and great role
model for any team who may need a superior quarterback.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do no hesitate to contact me.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

R. David Freeman
