events throughout my college football career that did not allow me to pursue this dream, but over the last year I
have refocused myself to give it a go one last time.  Throughout my life I have had to opportunity to experience It
has been my dream to play professional football from a very young age.  I have experienced many disappointing
events throughout my college football career that did not allow me to pursue this dream, but over the last year I
have refocused myself to give it a go one last time.  Throughout my life I have had to opportunity to experience
many challenges that have taught me the importance of hard work, motivation, persistence, and love.  These are
qualities I displayed during my football career and currently exhibit within my academic career.  I am currently
enrolled at Northwest Missouri State University in their school counseling master’s program.  My passion is
football but I feel in my heart GOD created me to influence children.  I believe the best way for me to do this is
through the public school system by means of education and/or coaching.

Over the last 4 ½ years I have worked for a company called Sequel Youth Services at an institution identified as the
Clarinda Academy, which is a juvenile behavioral school focused on developing positive life habits for “At Risk
Youth.” I began working with the company in 2004 during my undergraduate career.  Upon graduating college in
2005, I spent 1 ½ years working full time with the academy.  In 2006 I enrolled into graduate school at Northwest
Missouri State University and continued to work at the academy.  During my time at the academy, I have held many
positions including youth counselor, coach, and individual counselor.  I just accepted a job on the Northwest
campus so I recent resigned as a full time Academy staff member to an on-call staff member.  I still volunteer
much of my time to the students of the Academy through one-on-one counseling, helping out the football team,
and helping with many other Academy activities.

Hobbies: exercise, tutoring, volunteering, spending time with family and friends

Volunteer work: Tutoring middle/elementary school students, helping with Joe Quinlin’s speed and agility camps
for high school/college athletes, assisting summer football camps at Rolla High School and Clarinda Academy.

WHAT CAN I OFFER YOUR TEAM? I believe I can bring “the example!”  I mean that I am someone who works hard
and is motivated to succeed personally, socially, professionally, and spiritually.  Others can use me as someone
who displays positivity in all aspects of life not just in football.  I am a very optimistic person with a lot of faith in
myself, family, and GOD.  My faith, charisma, attitude, motivation, and positivity will be contagious.
