My name is David Schierbaum, born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised as a football player. I was raised in a catholic
household, with a very loving mother. I was truly blessed with a mother, brother, and father that always pushed me
game of football as well. Being goal oriented and highly motivated in the  classroom as well as the field is a staple
of who I am. It showed throughout my career with many major scholastic and athletic awards. I began playing this
great game in 4th grade and have been in love with it ever since. I made a living creating total chaos for opposing
offenses. I defy all odds that someone 5'10 200lbs can dominate at a high level in this game.  Hustle and heart
are two lost characteristics in present day football. My coaches and family were always telling me that I had a
unique gift of speed and hustle. I went on to have a great career and start for four years as a DB/FB/LB  at Valley
Forge High school in Parma, Ohio. While also being a starter on the wrestling team for three of those years. I
Forge High school in Parma, Ohio. While also being a starter on the wrestling team for three of those years. I
graduated with a 3.75 GPA and was accepted to the National Honors Society.  From there I had many offers from
some bigger schools but decided to stay near home and play for Baldwin Wallace College Div 3. From the
moment I set foot on the magic carpet at Finnie Stadium I made my presence known. I was moved from CB to
Outside Linebacker because of my physical play. I love nothing more than to size up a RB/QB/or WR and very
important to be a versatile player. I had my biggest games against the best teams. Against multiple National
Championship Mount Union College I received OAC Player of the week honors and all with a fractured hand in first
quarter. In my opinion there are no injuries that you can't play through, we are football players and this is what we
accomplish. I graduated at 21 years old, a 3.5 GPA, with a political science degree and a minor in strength
training.  That same year I experienced a huge tragedy in my family, my father and brother passed away in the
same year. My parents were divorced since I was 4, so I've really had to be mentally strong in my life. This was the
hardest thing I will ever endure. I had to make a decision, I was either going to let it kill me or make me stronger.
So I decided on the latter, and I thank my mother for the strength to do so. These events really made me grow up
quicker and become diverse. I also realized the only thing that matters in life is my family and playing football.  After
college, while preparing for combines, I started a company training college and professional athletes called MAQ
and continued to pursue playing football professionally. In the past few years I went to multiple Arena combines
and camps, while playing semi-pro football for the Cleveland Lions for the last four years, winning 2
championships and 3 league MVPs. My whole life playing football was built around speed, aggressiveness,
hustle, and knowledge for the game. If  blessed enough to be chosen by your organization I will bring your team
speed, hustle, and a winning mentality. My never quit attitude and pure love for the game will be infectious to my
teammates. I have the opportunity to do many things in my life but my passion is to keep playing football. Now, I
feel that it's time to take my talents internationally. As you can see I have overcome many obstacles in my life and
yet I still try to achieve the impossible. I would like nothing more than to bring my special ability to you football
organization. Words can't express my talents and or passion for the game, seeing is believing. I just trust that God
will watch over my family, as well as my aspirations of continuing my football career.
