My name is Daniel E. Roach Jr and I love the game of football. I started playing football at a very young age with
Pop Wanner football in my city and this is when I found love for the game. Playing football in my young years until I
was a sophomore in high school growing up I made a name for myself which was the specialist because at that
level I played some many position offense and defense and I was very fiscal in the process. Offense I had a noise
for the end zone, on defense denying the opposing team from scoring by running through their face mask when
where as high school my sophomore year I had broken my hip then I came back and played the last game I had a
one pick and 8 assist and 5 solo tackles. The following years I almost broke a rushing record of Gale Sails in only
two years at James Hill House High that's when I knew that this is a sport I would like to pursue later on in my
career.
In my colleges experience I had attended Dean Jr College in Franklin Mass where I was a starting RB for two
years and was recognize as a pre-season All-American for the second season. After Dean I attended Mount Ida
College in Newton Mass where I showcase my talent and was put into their defense schemes right away as a FS,
CB, and P&KR for two years. So running through the face mask was a method that worked I became the third
leading tackler on the team and rank in KO, PR in the top30 in the D-3 conference as a Mount Ida Mustang.
Theirs no better feeling then playing the secondary and seeing the QB throwing the ball into a area that's not really
open and you as a defender jump the route and pick the ball off and all the QB can do is hang his head after he
sees you breaking the goal line or you making an big stop on first down to give your team the momentum or
making a move on a defender knowing if you make it past him he has no chance of catching you and its six on the
scoreboard. This is what I can bring to a teams organization with excitement and emotion I would say that I can
step up to the challenges.
I put my heart into this game and I'm working vary hard to make it where I would like to be also waiting for the
opportunity to showcase my talent once again. I believe that I can perform at any level of competition and I feel
given the chance I will do so.
