defensive lineman in fourth grade, and by the time I graduated from Ipswich High School in Massachusetts, I was
a full grown, fast, hungry, hard hitting linebacker.
Football was my motivation for everything as I grew, and I realized that trend would continue into college. I would
go on to attend Mount Ida College where I was quickly recognized for my talent and became a four-year starting
inside linebacker. I love this game so much that during my 5th year there I agreed to help coach the team during
the preseason (I only stopped because I earned a job coaching at a local high school).
I love being a linebacker. I love seeing the fear in a quarterback’s eyes when I blitz through his line, and his eyes
meet mine, and he knows the pain that I am about to bring him. There is also nothing sweeter than filling the hole
on third and short, where the cards are stacked against me, and I drop that back for a loss, or put my hat on that
ball and they don’t even get a chance to kick that ball, because I made it mine. At the end of the day, when all is
said and done, I love having our defense rally behind me and rely on me as their leader. It is incredible how great
four quarters can make a group of friends feel.
I have always been dedicated to the game. Still today I pour my blood, sweat, and tears into every moment that I
train, waiting eagerly for my next opportunity to impress my next coaching staff and teammates. Every day I work to
be faster, stronger, and more explosive than anyone else. My desire to continue my career is second to none. I
want to prove to myself, and anyone who may doubt me that I can play at the highest levels of competition, and I
will when given the chance.
Respectfully Yours,
